Interdisciplinary Team:
To support our children’s learning and wellbeing, we provide ongoing support through Speech and Language Therapy and Psychology services. From different professional perspectives, these services complement our daily educational work and offer guidance and support to families, teachers and the leadership team.
Transport:
Our transport service is operated by experienced and committed staff who ensure safety, care and warmth for children and their families during daily journeys.
Our route assistants support the organisation of the service and guide children’s behaviour throughout the journey, applying pedagogical principles to promote respect, care and positive habits while travelling.
Speech and Language Therapy:
This is an additional service offered by American Garden for children who require support in the acquisition and use of their mother tongue, as well as in their bilingual development process.
The school’s speech and language therapist works full time and is part of the interdisciplinary team. She provides individual support to families when required and also trains and supports the teaching staff, both inside and outside the classroom.
Nutrition
American Garden provides appropriate and balanced meals through morning snacks and lunch, designed to meet children’s nutritional needs at each stage of their development.
Menus are carefully selected to promote healthy eating habits, ensure a balanced diet and support children’s overall wellbeing during the school day. Medical recommendations or specific dietary requirements shared by families are taken into account, ensuring a responsible and caring approach to nutrition.
